CENTRE FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION TO BE SET UP IN AMARAVATI

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is on a roll in bringing down lots of development to the state of Andhra Pradesh. In this context, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has expressed its willingness to set up a National Exhibition Centre for Development of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Amaravati.

In a meeting with the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad very recently, a delegation from the CII which was led by Director General Chandrajit Banerjee handed over its proposal and was promised to be allotted 10 acres in the capital city for establishment of this permanent facility.

The CM suggested that they could function from the Medha Towers at Gannavaram till their full-fledged office comes up in Amaravati.

The CII delegates, during this meeting, told the CM that the proposed exhibition centre would be on the lines of Pragati Maidan in Delhi and that the industry body was committed to helping in enriching the Human Resources, which the state of Andhra Pradesh has in abundance. Mr. Banerjee informed the Chief Minister of the upcoming CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, and later interacted with the CEO of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board J. Krishna Kishore on the arrangements.
