ANDHRA PRADESH GOES FOR 24*7 POWER SUPPLY UNOFFICIALLY.

  • Unofficial 1st phase of 24 hours electricity started in AP

In Andhra Pradesh supply of continuous electricity started unofficially from Thursday 2nd October. Initially, government had planned to include the major three corporations Vijayawada, Vizag and Tirupathi into 1st phase, but due to technical reasons finally Tirupathi, Eluru corporations were selected along with 9 municipalities and 39 Mandal divisions.  The supply of electricity is as per demand after central government MOU with AP state regarding electricity production and supply making it as unofficial 24*7 Power supply throughout the state.

The details of the Live Feed of the electricity will be made available online to public from next week.  9,000+ feeders are installed with GSM units to send the live feed status.

2 kilowatts solar PV rooftop were installed and officially inaugurated in Aakiveedu, West Godavari district during ‘Janmabhoomi’ program. The total cost of the project was Rs 3.3 lakh of which 2.3 lakhs were funded by local gram panchayath and Rs 1 lakh subsidy from the government of India. This Solarification project extends to 375 panchayats of West godavari district.
