ADVANCED NIGHT VISION COMPANY IN NIMMAKURU

Under the supervision of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), an Advanced Night Vision Products Company is soon going to be launched in Nimmakuru, Krishna District with a budget of Rs.300 crore. The construction of this company will start on the 29th of August. With attendees like CM Chandrababu Naidu, Central Urban Development minister M. Venkaiah Naidu, the foundation stone-laying ceremony is surrounded by a lot of prominence.

The sole purpose of this company is to manufacture and produce equipment like IR seekers, night vision devices and thermal imaging cameras for the protection forces of India. This facility however shall be the second manufacturing unit of BEL after Machilipatnam.

Apart from that, the government is also planning to enhance the development of tourism iin Kolleti Kota by building a bridge worth Rs. 13 crore. This bridge shall be constructed over the canal between Pandiripallegudem and Kolleti Kota.
