Telangana EAMCET 3 Will Be Held On September 11

In a move that will now affect thousands of students across the state, the Telangana government has cancelled the EAMCET-2 after the paper leakage scandal and will now conduct EAMCET 3 for admissions into MBBS, BDS courses in Telangana

The exam will be conducted between 10 am and 1 pm on September 11. The Telangana CM, Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao said, “We took this unfortunate decision as we currently have no other option. We urge parents to not worry about the examination and help their children write the exam well.”

Telangana government has replaced EAMCET convener and appointed JNTU-H Registrar Yadaiah as the new convener. The decision has been taken after a review meeting chaired by the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday with regards to the EAMCET-2 question paper leak met to deliberate on this matter, and undertake measures to make the exam foolproof this time. The government decided that JNTU-H would conduct the exam.

According to a communication by the government, the students can appear for the exam with the same Hall Ticket Number allotted for EAMCET-2. They are exempted from any examination or registration fee. The students can also avail free transport in RTC buses on the exam day by showing the hall ticket.
