CHANDRABABU NAIDU ATTRACTS WALMART, PEPSICO AND WIPRO WITH “MADE IN ANDHRA” CAMPAIGN AT DAVOS.

“Made in Andhra” is the buzzing word at the Make In India campaign in the World Economic Forum meeting going on in Switzerland. Andhra Pradesh CEO Mr.Chandrababu Naidu was invited as a special guest from India along with the high level delegation to the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos. The CEO is totally on his job selling the products of Andhra Pradesh and bringing the World’s top CEOs to Andhra Pradesh, the Sunrise State.

WAL-MART:

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu met the CEO of Walmart Mr. David Cheese Wright to discuss the opportunities of business in Andhra Pradesh. The CEO of walmart has agreed to market 100 products from the Dwakra Groups produced at the small scale industries run by Dwakra Women and the Self help group. This is a big win for the dwakra women as walmart is know for its huge market around the world.

The discussion went on the agricultural products of Andhra Pradesh, which lead to walmart’s agreement on marketing Groundnuts, Cashewnuts, Coconut, Maize, Cereals, Fruits, Mangoes, Lemon, Eggs, Milk Products and Sea Foods in walmart stores around the world.  These products are grown with high quality in Andhra Pradesh from Srikakulam to Ananthapur with varied land conditions. Walmart agreeing to buy these products from Andhra Pradesh will bring the Agri Based Industries and would take Mr.Naidu a step ahead in his promise of making agriculture profitable.

Mr.Wright has also agreed to the request of Mr.Naidu to visit Andhra Pradesh and will be visiting AP in the month of April. Mr.Wright extended his support to help the retail chains in AP with the walmart’s customer solutions and technologies including its world class supply chain management techniques as part of the corporate social responsibility.

CM Chandrababu Naidu at Davos had a meeting with Indira Noyi, a name well known around the world, The CEO of Pepsico International. Mr.Naidu gave a presentation about the specialty of  Konaseema Coconuts, The coconuts from the farms in the Krishna-Godavari basin and the World Famous Mangoes from Andhra Pradesh. Impressed by the presentation with clear data and market situation, the CEO of Pepsico approved the proposal for establishing Mango Pulp extraction factories in Krishna, Chittor, East and West Godavari Districts. The CEO of the Pepsico also agreed to by Maize, Papaya and Banana yields from Andhra Pradesh and process them into food products at Pepsico associated food processing units.

Indira Noyi has expressed has agreement to visit Andhra Pradesh in march to sign the agreements regarding the agreed upon projects and to witness the progress in person. She also agreed to fund the digital literacy program of Andhra Pradesh as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility.

Wipro to transform Vizag into a Digital City:

Mr.Chandrababu Naidu at Davos met Azim Premji and Rishad Premji of Wipro. They have agreed to transform Vizag into a digital city. Wipro group also agreed to install Mineral water plant and Hospital in rural areas of Andhra Pradesh. Wipro group also extended their support in e governance and mobile apps for government and citizen’s convenience.

Azim premji reminded Mr.Naidu about the Santoor soap manufacturing plant to be constructed in Ananthapur District. He also expressed his satisfaction over approval of Wipro SEZ, Vizag in a week which was pending for 3 years before Mr.Naidu came into power.

Mr.Azim Premji suggested Mr.Naidu to request Mr.Nandan Nilekani on technological help required in integrating the cash transfer scheme and other govt schemes.

Mr.Pawan Munjal, Vice chairman of Hero Motors promised Mr.Naidu at Davos that they would finish building the Factory in Sri City, AP in record time and start manufacturing bikes.
