Andhra Pradesh is going to host National Games for the year 2019. It is Nellore district, which is going to witness the National Games. Indian Olympic Association, which met in Gauhati has decided to hold the event at Mogallapalem in Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh. There are reports that a stadium with International repute spreading across 150 acres will be built in Nellore district.
“Already Uttrakhand has agreed that it would back out and support AP’s cause,” said Andhra Pradesh badminton Association senior administrator K.Ch. Punnaiah Chowdary.
AP’s CM Sri N. Chandra Babu Naidu have the experience of conducting the 32nd National games of INDIA in 2002 at Hyderabad when the PM was Atal Bihari Vajpayee from BJP.
In his welcome speech:
He asked the Union Government to make import of sporting equipment free. He thanked the Sports Authorities and AP Olympic Association for its help in shaping the best stadiums in record time at the Sports Village at Hyderabad. He said that Andhra Pradesh will be ready to host Olympics if necessary and asked India to competent for the same.

He felt happy at Andhra Pradesh for providing international quality infrastructure for sports. He asked parents and teachers to encourage their children to play games and actively take part in sports. About 25,000 hours of a student’s life in 12 years span is spent in classrooms and that a sporting and games had an unfortunate small share.
