5. SHEER KHORMA

Sheer Khorma or Sheer Khurma (“milk with dates” in Urdu) is a festival vermicelli pudding prepared by Muslims on Eid ul-Fitr in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. It is a traditional Muslim festive breakfast, and a dessert for celebrations. Sheer (Kshir (क्षीर)) in Sanskrit has a same meaning as Milk), is Persian for milk and Khurma is Persian for dates. This dish is made from dried dates.

This special dish is served on the morning of Eid day in the family after the Eid prayer as breakfast, and throughout the day to all the visiting guests.

6. MIRCHI KA SALAN

Mirchi ka Salan is a traditional Hyderabadi dish prepared in weddings and special occasions. It is a spicy dish served with rice or chapati. The mirchi (chili) is cooked in spices, and peanut adds a grainy texture to this dish. Originally this is made with long spicy chilies available in India

8. DOUBLE KA MEETHA

Double ka meetha is a dessert of Hyderabad. It is a bread pudding dessert of fried bread slices soaked in hot milk with spices, including saffron and cardamom. The dish is similar to Shahi Tukda which has its roots in Pakistani cuisine and is a famous dessert in Mughlai cuisine. It is particularly prepared during the festive month of Ramadan and on Eid. The recipe uses bread, condensed milk, and dry fruits.

9. SARVA PINDI ATTU
